The Winner of The Voice Season 17 Is… (SPOILER ALERT)

Congratulations to The Voice contestant, Jake Hoot, who won it all during Tuesday’s finale. (December 17) The one-chair-turner impressed judge, Kelly Clarkson, who was his coach during the competition. The Corpus Christi, Texas native, and single dad performed a cover of Luke Combs’ “When It Rains It Pours” to start the season and continued to wow with songs from Willie Nelson, Trace Atkins and an original song detailing his painful divorce.
Clarkson praised all of the final contestants, calling the group, “the most talented group of singers.” Hoot said having Clarkson as his coach helped him grow as a parent and an artist. Did The Voice get it right?
