Max In The Heat
Portland Ore – With temperatures in the 90s TriMet says its MAX trains may have to slow down a bit.
Improvements on the overhead wires and the rails have helped keep the Red and Blue lines up to speed in temperatures of up to 100 degrees. But the green, yellow and orange lines have not had those improvements and will slow down as the temperatures head above 90.
WES rail service will not be affected unless temperatures climb above 100 degrees.
