Man Murdered in Tillamook Home

TILLAMOOK, Ore. — A man was murdered inside a home in Tillamook early Saturday morning and the suspect was arrested.

Jeffery Carr, 43, was found dead in a home in the 2600 block of 6th Street just after 5:30.

The suspect took off, but was caught nearby.  Michael Blaser, 35, is charged with murder and assault.

Investigators have not said how the victim was murdered.
