Portland, Ore. — Police responded to a call of shots fired just after noon Friday near the Moda Center. The building was put into lockdown. Thirty-year-old Edward Murdock allegedly fired a gun at a woman inside a porta potty, then barricaded himself inside after she ran to safety, uninjured. This all happened while the L.A. Lakers were in town to play the Portland Trail Blazers that night. Murdock was arrested on charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm within city limits and for an outstanding warrant from Washington County.
