Governor Imposes 180 Day Ban on Sale Of Flavored Vaping Products
Salem, Or. – Oregon Governor Kate Brown has issued a 180 day ban on the sale of flavored vaping products. She is asking everyone not to vape until more is known about the cause of vaping related illnesses that have killed two Oregonians.
She says “my first priority is to safeguard the health of all Oregonians. By keeping potentially unsafe products off of store shelves and out of the hands of Oregon’s children and youth, we prevent exposing more people to potentially dangerous chemical compounds, and help lessen the chance of further tragedy for any other Oregon family.”
The Governor has also created a Vaping Public Health Work Group.
