Portland, Ore. – Good news for anyone over 50 years old and looking for a new gig. There are several free job fairs this afternoon, all around the metro area. Employers and managers will be out today from 1 to 3pm in Portland, Beaverton, Salem, and Vancouver. They’ll be signing folks up for new jobs and also help you fix up your resume. Some of the employers include local Government agencies like Metro and the City of Woodburn, and private companies like UPS and Goodwill.

The companies are offering new opportunities to supplement income with full or part time employment.

For example at the Portland location (Portland Metro Workforce Training Center /5600 NE 42nd Avenue Portland, OR 97218) Industry available to interview are local Government ( Metro) and larger retailers like WinCo.

 

In the Beaverton location (PCC Willow Creek Center /241 SW Edgeway Drive Beaverton, OR 97006) some of the larger employers ready to hire include Amazon, UPS and Sysco-Foods.

 

In Salem (Salem Goodwill Job Connection, 3535 Lancaster Dr. NE, Salem OR 97305) among the 23 employers – the US Board Patrol, the City of Woodburn and Salem-Keizer Schools.

 

In Vancouver (Living Hope Church/ 2711 NE Andresen Rd Vancouver, WA 98661) 35 employers will be gathered including Clark County, The City of Vancouver and Hilton.
