Portland ore – United Parcel Service President Joe Braham kicked off a new freight pilot on PSU’s campus Wednesday.
UPS will use zero-emission eTrikes to deliver packages to the campus and surrounding neighborhoods.
The initiative will test whether the vehicles can supplement or even replace traditional gasoline-powered trucks to cover the final leg of the company’s various delivery routes and to do so safely, efficiently and with a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
