Camila Cabello’s dreaming of a White Christmas as she heads to Miami

ABC/Image Group LACamila Cabello is heading somewhere warm for the holidays, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t appreciate the snow and cold.

“I’m excited to just spend time with my grandparents, spend time with my family in Miami,” Camila tells ABC News. But, she admits, “I love a white Christmas. I love being in the snow — not for a long time, but just for the holiday season, I feel like it adds an energy, y’know?”

Perhaps Camila will be able to experience snow immediately after Christmas; she’s been telling interviewers that she plans to spend New Year’s Eve with her boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, in his hometown of Toronto.

Camila also shared some of her holiday preferences with ABC News. She’ll take Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer over Frosty the Snowman, hot chocolate over eggnog, Elf over Home Alone, and ugly Christmas sweaters over holiday glam.

She also revealed that her favorite Christmas song is “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” or maybe “Santa Baby.”

Camila has a busy 2020 on tap. She’ll kick off a headlining tour in support of her new album, Romance, in May in Oslo, Norway. Her upcoming movie debut in Cinderella isn’t coming out until 2021, but she’ll probably end up filming it next year.
