Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper have pretty much been joined at the hip since last summer, when A Star Is Born had its world premiere.  But surprisingly, Cooper wasn’t one of the many stars in the audience last month when Gaga kicked off her new Las Vegas residency show Enigma.  And he feels badly about it, too.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actor and director said, “I can’t wait [to see it]! I wanted to see the opening show and I couldn’t make it. I was so bummed. I’m gonna see it soon.”

Some of the stars who did make it to Gaga’s premiere weekend included Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Adam Lambert and Celine Dion, whose wild dancing in the audience has gone viral.

Gaga and Cooper will be together this Sunday night at the Golden Globes: Not only are they both nominated, but they’re also going to be presenters, along with stars like Steve Carell, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Harrison Ford, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Idris Elba, Octavia Spencer, Dick Van Dyke and Jim Parsons.

The show airs on NBC Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
