Accused Murderer from Gresham Will Go Back To Alaska On 41 year Old Case
PORTLAND, Ore.– 62 year old Donald McQuade of Gresham will be sent back to Alaska to be arraigned for the murder of teenager Shelly Connolly in 1978. This morning he surrendered to Alaska Governor Michael Dunleavy’s warrant. His extradition won’t take place for a couple of weeks. Family remains concerned for McQuade’s health. He suffers from stage 4 liver Cancer. He’s been treated at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. McQuade will have to start treatment all over again in Alaska.
