Every year we hear of giant pumpkins, but some men dream of even bigger things.  Gary Kristensen from Oregon grows them, but also decided to do something even bigger.  Paddle one down a river for a new world record.

And he did it!  His new record is 45.67 miles paddling his pumpkin he calls “Punky Loafster”.  He named it that because it has bread loaf-like sides.  He’s also paddled his way to win the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta the past four consecutive years.
