Richard Gere sold his Connecticut home for $10.75 million and he’s moving to Madrid, Spain.
He’s lived there with his wife Alejandra Silva for two years. 75-year-old Gere married 41-year-old Silva in 2018 and they have two sons together. The reason behind the big move? To be closer to Silva’s family and culture.
“She was very generous in giving me six years living in my world, so it is only fair that I give her at least another six living in hers,” “I love Spain and the ability of the Spanish people to live transmitting joy and happiness.”
The couple, along with their two children, will also maintain a residence in upstate New York.
