Surgeon General Warns “This Week, It’s Going to Get Bad” as COVID-19 Cases Soar
The U.S. Surgeon General has a message for anyone who still thinks the coronavirus pandemic is overblown. “I want America to understand: This week, it’s going to get bad,” Surgeon General Jerome Adams said Monday on TODAY. “We really, really need everyone to stay at home. I think that there are a lot of people who are doing the right things, but…we’re finding out a lot of people think this can’t happen to them.”
CNN notes that so far, more than 34,300 Americans have been infected with coronavirus across all 50 states, and at least 414 people have died.
