Special Election Day In Oregon City Residents Vote For New Mayor

OREGON CITY, Ore– Voters need to get their ballots in today by 8PM.  The special election is being held to replace recalled Oregon City Mayor Dan Holladay.  Clackamas County Elections Manager Sherry Hall says about 21 thousand people are eligible to vote in this election.  Ballots were mailed out February 17th.  Five candidates are on the ballot.  At this point ballots should be dropped off at city hall or  the Clackamas County Elections  office.  The special election is costing taxpayers $30,000.
