The National Weather Service says some accumulating snow may be headed into our area for the higher elevations and a possile dusting in parts of the lower metro along with some ice tonight. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for our area.

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 10 AM PST SUNDAY…

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Snow or a rain/snow mix
should transition to a mix of rain and freezing rain across the
Portland metro tonight. Snow accumulations should remain a
dusting or less except across the higher hills and western
Washington County where up to one inch of snow will be possible.
Freezing rain will be primarily confined to the top of the West
Hills, the eastern Portland metro, primarily east of Interstate
205 and far western Washington County. Ice accumulations in
these areas could be as high as a tenth to two tenths of an
inch, particularly around Troutdale. Elsewhere, marginal
temperatures will lead to little, if any ice accumulations.
Winds will gust as high as 40 mph across the eastern Portland
metro and the top of the West Hills.
