SALEM, Ore.— Some 280 thousand plus signatures have to be turned in  to the Secretary of States office related to the recall of Oregon governor Kate Brown.  The Republican Party recall effort indicated canvassers worked hard to collect many more signatures than needed as a buffer for those that can’t meet the validation  requirements.  The Secretary of state’s office will take up to 10 days to verify signatures.  The GOP has maintained that Brown has let Oregonians  down citing examples of  PERS reform and the latest on Death Penalty revisions.
