Salad E. Coli Outbreak Hits Oregon
Portland, Ore. – That E-coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce has now hit Oregon. 67 people in the United States are sick, one case is now reported here. The CDC says you should avoid eating any romaine lettuce grown in the Salinas, California region. Federal Health officials say no one has died in the outbreak, but 39 people have gone to the hospital. Six people have suffered kidney failure.
