Ryan Reynolds Responds To Rumors Of Hosting The Oscars With Hugh Jackman

They are besties, talented and hilarious together…it would be a dream team to make people actually watch the Oscars right? Wellll don’t get your hopes up for this year. Ryan Reynolds shot that rumor down that he and Hugh Jackman would be hosting the 2025 Oscars, BUT he’s open to doing it in the future.

He told Variety: “Historically speaking, that is a difficult job, you know,” “It would be a dream to do it one day. I’ll say that.” He is actually working on writing a movie for himself and Jackman and their Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy. “I’m really just spending the year writing a movie for myself, Hugh [Jackman] and Shawn [Levy] to do that is not Marvel, and that’s kind of it.” He is also spending more time with family in the coming year.

The Oscars air live on March 2 on ABC.
