Prince William & Kate Middleton Thank Teachers for Keeping Schools Open for Frontline Workers’ Kids

Prince William and Kate Middleton took time to thank UK teachers this week for keeping schools open for the children of frontline workers amid the coronavirus crisis. “Well done, honestly ,to you and everyone who’s in during this time,” Kate told educators at Casterton Primary Academy via videoconference. “It must be such a relief for all the parents who are key workers to know that the normality is there for their children. They’ve got the structure and they’ve got a safe place for them to be, so really really well done to all of you.”

She and William also talked to the children at the school, who were busy making Easter decorations. One girl chided William when he asked her if she’d made a paper handbag, and she replied, “It’s an Easter basket!”
