Oregon’s Weekly COVID-19 Report Shows Two Decreases And An Increase

PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon Health Authority’s weekly COVID-19 report released Wednesday shows decreases in new daily cases and hospitalizations, but an increase in virus-related deaths.

Between Monday, October 4th and Sunday, October 10th, cases dropped by 13 percent and hospitalizations declined by 10 percent.

However, deaths jumped from 114 to 179.

The state’s percentage of positive tests was down from 8.8 percent to 8.1 percent.
