Nuggets Steal Game 4 In The Moda Center, Win 116-112
Well, it wasn’t the night Blazer fans would have hoped for as the Nuggets stole Game 4, beating the Blazers 116-112. Jamal Murray was fantastic tonight for the Nuggets finishing with 34 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Murray also hit all of his free throws, including six clutch free throws down the stretch to ice the game. Nikola Jokic, who Blazer fans have no love for after some dirty play in Game 3, finished with another triple-double(21 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists).
Damian Lillard had another poor shooting game, going 9-22 from the field and finishing with 28 points. It was from the free throw line where Lillard missed some key shots, going 8-11 from the line with two missed free throws in the 4th quarter. Cj McCollum, who has been the best Blazers this series, finished with 29 points and 5 rebounds. Seth Curry was on fire in the 1st half, scoring all 16 of his points in that quarter. Kanter struggled on the night, scoring only 5 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
The referees will be the talk for Blazer fans as there were a number of questionable fouls and no calls that went against the Blazers. After the final whistle “REF YOU SUCK” chants rained down onto the court.
The series heads back to Denver all tied up at 2-2 now. Game 5 will be Tuesday night at at 7:30pm on TNT.
