Jonas Brothers React To “Sucker”‘s #1 Debut

The Jonas Brothers have scored the first #1 of their career with their comeback single “Sucker,” and Nick Jonas expressed his joy over the major accomplishment in a series of tweets.

“AHHH!!! This is unbelievable. My heart is so full of gratitude,” he wrote, “There was a time I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to be able to make music with my brothers again, let alone have a number 1 song on the Hot 100 on @billboard.”

He continued. “Thank you to every single person who downloaded, streamed and listened to #sucker. This still feels like a dream, and the best part is is that it’s just the beginning of this incredible new chapter.”

Nick then went on to thank the band’s management and record label, as well as Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote the song, and Frank Dukes, who produced it.

Finally, Nick thanked the band’s loyal followers.

“All of our JONATICS! You guys are the best fans in the world, and we wouldn’t be anywhere without you!” he wrote.

His brother Joe Jonas also chimed in with his thanks. “You guys are incredible. #1 debut on the @Billboard Hot 100?? Are you kidding me!? We are so grateful & love you guys so much…Can you believe this is only the beginning?”

And Kevin Jonas reacted specifically to a Billboard chart fact: In the entire history of the Billboard Hot 100, only two songs by a duo or group have ever debuted at #1: “Sucker” and Aerosmith‘s 1998 smash. “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”

He tweeted, “This can’t be real life!! WHAT IS HAPPENING AHHHHHH!!!”
