The coronavirus pandemic has turned Americans into a bunch of meatheads!

Retail meat sales rose 77 percent during the week of March 15. “This is the most substantial shift I’ve ever seen,” said Chad Martin, group president of poultry for Tyson Foods. “And it’s hit all our proteins–chicken, beef, turkey.” Actually, pork is the biggest gainer, with sales up 89 percent in aforementioned time period.

Steak… It’s apparently what’s for dinner!
