We’re still waiting for the release of his sophomore album, but MAX will be giving us some new music next month.

The “Lights Down Low” singer will release a new single, “Love Me Less,” on April 5. “I’m really ecstatic to finally be releasing ‘Love Me Less’ into the world. It’s always had a very raw and important message to me,” he says in a statement.

As for the new album, it’s “on the way,” and so is a world tour.  Speaking about his current work, MAX explains, “I want to be as authentic as possible, whether it is about losing people in my life or just who I am as a person.”

“The new music continues to dive deeper into spreading a message of being true to who you are, wearing what you want to wear, loving who you want to love, and being accepting,” he adds.

Not long ago, MAX tweeted, “I’ve been waiting for so long to have a clear and committed vision for this next era and music. It’s finally hit me. I’m so excited to create and share it.”“Lights Down Low” has racked up half a billion streams globally, and been certified double platinum for sales of two million units.
