Mass Evacuation From Florida As Milton Approaches
Source: YouTube
Millions are fleeing the path of Hurricane Milton as it’s being called the worst to hit the Gulf Coast of Florida in 100 years. But with that comes standstill traffic and no gas at gas stations for miles upon miles.
Tampa’s mayor went as far as to say “if you stay, you will die.”
But flying out isn’t an option as airports in Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers and Sarasota are shut down until the storm passes.
Still, many are staying who are unable to get out or afraid they will be stuck on a highway in the middle of the storm.
Still, Clearwater’s City Manager and Tampa’s first chief says it’s not too late to try to leave.
