Liam Neeson feels like his action star days are coming to a close. He said he’ll be retiring from Taken-style films by the end of 2025. “I’m 72 — it has to stop at some stage,” he told People.

He does his own fight scenes, but longtime double Mark Vanselow steps in for the tougher stuff. “You can’t fool audiences. I don’t want Mark to be fighting my fight scenes for me.” Neeson said he’ll be done with action by “maybe the end of next year,” adding: “I think that’s it.”

That said, he did mention a similar sentiment in 2017 before un-retiring two weeks later. Until then, enjoy him in Absolution out November 1.
