Keith Urban Livestreams Concert From His Warehouse as Nicole Kidman Sings Along
Keith Urban is doing his part to keep country fans entertained during the coronavirus pandemic. The Tennessean reports that late Monday, he livestreamed a live performance from his warehouse with help from wife and backup singer Nicole Kidman.
“You’re up, baby,” Kidman told Urban at the start of the video. Urban went on to joke that he’s “basically playing karaoke” and called collaborator Jeff Linsenmaier his “instaband” for laying down tracks that Urban played along with. The show’s setlist included “Somebody to Love,” “Blue Ain’t Your Color” and his latest single, “God Whispered Your Name.”
Kidman not only sang, but also danced and clapped throughout the set; at on point, Urban joked that the room reminded him of his “club days,” prompting Kidman to crack, “An audience of one.” Urban also said this “may be the first of a few” shows he livestreams during the pandemic, with Kidman chiming in, “I’ve got nothing going on.” Urban was supposed to play in Houston on Monday night, but the show was obviously canceled.
Kidman wrote on Instagram after the show was over, “Just loved getting to sing and dance with you all.”
