Justin Timberlake addressed the press in Sag Harbor, NY after entering a guilty plea on his DWI charge. He told reporters he “could have made a different choice” the night he was arrested in June. He says he’s had a lot of time to reflect and urges everyone to not get behind the wheel even if you’ve had one drink.
He took a plea deal dropping his misdemeanor DWI charge to a traffic violation and was sentenced to 25 hours serving a nonprofit of his choice. When the judge asked if completing community service in the affluent neighborhood where Timberlake was arrested on June 18 would be something he’d be willing to do, Timberlake replied, “I’d be honored to,” CNN reports. His license is also suspended for 90 days.
