Portland, Or. –  An 85 million dollar expansion of Providence Park has been finished. The upgrade adds three new levels and more than 4,000 new seats on the stadium’s East side. The  expansion also includes LED field lights, upgraded locker rooms and concession stands and a new team store.

The upgrade was financed by Timbers and Thorns owner, Merritt Paulson.

Fans will be able to check out the stadium’s new look when the Timbers play their home opener against LAFC tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m.
