Jonny Cournoyer(NEW YORK) — The official trailer for A Quiet Place II dropped Wednesday and featured the return of Emily Blunt’s Evelyn, who is fighting off more than just monsters this time.

Blunt’s Evelyn is forced to lead her three children through the treacherous wilderness alone following the death of her husband in the first film. They activate traps set by a new character, played by Cillian Murphy, who is reluctant to help them.

“The people that are left are not the kind of people worth saving,” he says after she pleads with him to help her save the other people who, like them, are trying to flee the monsters.

“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence,” reads the plot summary. “Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”

Blunt’s husband, John Krasinski, is back as the film’s writer and director, but won’t appear in the sequel.

A Quiet Place II opens nationwide March 20.
