Dog Is So Happy His Owner Is Home Self-Isolating, He Sprains Tail From Too Much Wagging
Tongues are “wagging” over this “tale” of an adorable dachshund in the UK who’s so happy his owner is home self-isolating, he downright injured himself. This past Friday, Rolo’s owner tweeted, “My dog has been so happy that everyone is home for quarantine that his tail has stopped working…We went to the vet and the vet said he had sprained his tail from excessively wagging it.”
In a followup post on Saturday, Emma Smith added, “He is currently on pain relief and the vet said he should be healed within a week…He is super happy and there is now movement from side to side, but he is struggling to lift it up in the air.” Smith also debuted a new Instagram account for her pup at “rolo.thehotdog,” where the pup says his new fans can “follow my journey getting my wag back.”
Didn’t expect this happen, for those asking, he is currently on pain relief and the vet said he should be healed within a week, this is him on the 2nd day. He is super happy and there is now movement from side to side but he is struggling to lift it up in the air. pic.twitter.com/dY0o96HOpj
