Did Taylor Swift Spend Christmas In An Irish Castle?
Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Joe Alwyn were spotted together in New York City on Sunday, People magazine reports, strolling the streets and then having lunch with Joe’s brothers Thomas and Patrick. But according to reports out of Ireland, the couple spent Christmas together in an Irish castle.
The Limerick Leader, citing tweets from locals, claims that Joe and Taylor rented Glin Castle in West Limerick, Ireland for the holidays. The castle was the ancestral home of the FitzGerald family for 700 years, but it’s now available for rent as a luxury vacation destination.
The tipoff came when Joe posted a photo of himself walking around in a rustic setting: Locals immediately identified it as Knight’s Walk, located near the castle. One local claimed that the couple was spotted in a pub, while another claims to have spotted a “massive private jet” at a nearby airport the day after Christmas.
