Deadly Accident In Marion County
BROOKS, Ore. — A woman was killed when she rear-ended a vehicle on Highway 99E on Wednesday evening.
Oregon State Police say a driver was stopped waiting for northbound traffic to clear so he could turn left onto Topaz Street. 52 year-old Alex Kalugin had minor injuries.
The woman who hit him, 81 year-old Delores Sams was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators haven’t said why she didn’t come to a stop.
