Craig Melvin’s role is expanding on the Today show, as he will now anchor all three hours. Currently, he helms the third hour with Al Roker, Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones. Melvin started with the show in 2018 after time with MSNBC and NBC News. Hoda Kotb announced two months ago that she was leaving her post after 17 years to focus on her young kids.
The change starts January 13th. The fourth hour of Today will feature a rotating panel of guest co-hosts with Jenna Bush Hager.
