Blazers Go Ice Cold In 2nd Half, Fall 110-99
For the second game in a row the Blazers played a perfect first half. Portland built a 66-53 lead in the first half and had all the momentum from the home crowd. But then the third quarter happened. The Blazers played a miserable quarter, being outscored 29-13 in the crucial quarter and they could never recover from that as they fell to Golden State 110-99.
Steph Curry was amazing yet again for Golden State, he finished with 36 points and 6 boards. Draymond Green recorded yet another triple double, this time finishing with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists.
Portland looked gassed in that second half and especially Damian Lillard and Cj McCollum. Lillard finished with 19 points on 5-18 shooting to go along with 5 turnovers. While McCollum finished with 23 points on 20 shots, and going 7-12 from the free throw line. Meyers Leonard was the lone bright spot for Portland tonight, he got the surprise start and finished with 16 points.
Portland is now down 0-3 in the series. Game 4 will be on Monday night from the Moda Center. No team has ever come down from a 0-3 deficit in NBA playoff history.
