Blazers Blown Out In Game 5

It was an ugly night in Denver for the Blazers, as they got blown out 124 to 98.

The two stars Cj McCollum and Damian Lillard missed countless open shots, as both struggled from the field shooting a combined 14-37.

Lillard did finish with 22 points but he never really got going as the star guard even missed 3 free throws in a game for the first time all season. The two starting forwards for the Blazers were bad as well, as Aminu and Harkless scored a combined 8 points on 3-11 shooting and only grabbed 5 combined rebounds.

Paul Milsap was dominant tonight for the Nuggets. He was a mismatch problem for the Blazers all night as he dominated Kanter, Aminu, and Harkless on his way to scoring 24 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Nikola Jokic had a monster game as well as he finished with 25 points and 19 rebounds.

Portland is now down 3-2 and they will head back to Portland looking to regroup for Game 6. That game will be Thursday night in the Moda Center at 7:30pm.
