Most artists might be a bit miffed to lose their #1 spot on the chart, but Ariana Grande couldn’t be happier.

Travis Scott‘s single “Sicko Mode,” featuring Drake, has dethroned Ari’s “thank u, next” from the the top of the Billboard Hot 100, where it had spent three weeks.  Ari was happy because as a fan of Travis’, she’s glad to see him finally score his first #1 hit on the chart.  She tweeted to him, “So f***ing dope. Congratulations.”

Travis responded, “U know it. blood gang s**t.”

Ariana also clapped back at one of her fan accounts when it tweeted that they’d hoped she’d shade Travis because she hit #1 “fair and square and he didn’t.”  That was a reference to the fact that Travis asked all his fans to join him and try to get “Sicko Mode” to the top — something Ari doesn’t begrudge the rapper.

“If an artist you stanned were that close to having their first # 1 and they did all that they could in their power to get it (and they got it), you’d be celebrating,” she chided the fan account. “it’s an exciting feeling. love u.”

Travis told Billboard that he’s “just super-thankful to all the fans and supporters.”  He added, “Me and Drake been working to make something so crazy for the kids. It’s dope that one of our illest collaborations just went No. 1.”
