One of Ariana Grande’s exes wasn’t mentioned in her new song, “thank u, next,” and he’s breathing a sigh of relief about it.

Singer Nathan Sykes, whom Ariana dated briefly in 2013, was asked about the song by TMZ while at LAX on Wednesday. He hadn’t heard the track yet, but when he found out he wasn’t among the exes she name-checked, he was glad.

“That’s good,” he said with a laugh. “No, that’s nice. But I hear it’s amazing, so that’s fantastic.”

“thank u, next” has Ariana showing appreciation to her former beaus, including Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, the late Mac Miller and her most recent ex, Pete Davidson. She then reveals that she’s “moved on” with someone new: herself.
