Ariana Grande Says She Wants To Shift Back To Theater
Are we not going to get another album from Ariana Grande?
During Ariana Grande’s appearance on the Las Culturistas podcast on Wednesday (November 6), she opened up about her future creative plans with her Wicked costar Bowen Yang and his co-host Matt Rogers saying she really wants to get back to theater. But to do that, her pop career might have to take a back seat. “I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to go on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise,” “But I don’t think doing it at the rate I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years is where I see the next 10 years.”’
Her role In the forthcoming Wicked films has clearly rekindled her love of acting. “Reconnecting with this part of myself who started in musical theater, and who loves comedy – it heals me to do that,” she said. “Whatever roles we see fit, I would really love to. I think it’s a lot better for me. I’m getting emotional.” And considering that she and Cynthia Erivo sang live during filming made it feel more like theater.
