All eyes are on A 90-year-old Seattle woman who wasn’t going to let a little snow – or a lot of snow, for that matter -keep her from getting vaccinated.
Fran Goldman had an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday – an appointment that took weeks to get. But the day before, a winter storm made it impossible to get her car from the driveway.
Undeterred, Fran trudged through the snow on foot, making a six-mile trek to and from the clinic to get her shot. She’s hoping the weather is a little nicer when she goes back for the second dose.
