Taylor Swift Will Connect With Fans Through New App

It was only a matter of time before Taylor Swift debuted her own app.

Glu Mobile, the company behind Katy Perry Pop and the successful Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app, is launching The Swift Life later this year.

The app isn’t a mobile game. Instead, it focuses on connecting Taylor’s fans to both her and each other through a shared social feed. Taylor will be able to see, like and comment on posts. The app will also include exclusive pics and video, music, and Taymojis — yes, Taylor is getting her very own set of emojis.

Taylor teases the app in a “First Look” promo video. “I think you guys are really gonna like this,” she says. “I mean, I hope. It would be preferable if you did.”

A beta version of the app will be available in limited territories soon.
