Amanda Bynes Asks Obama for Help
If convicted she faces a maximum penalty as a first-time offender of 48 hours in jail, three years probation and a nine-month alcohol program. She could also lose her driver's license for a year.
Amanda has been pretty adamant the whole time that she doesn’t drink, even though she frequents bars and clubs. The D.A. is seeking a harsher sentence since she refused to take a breathalyzer or a blood test. If convicted, she could get a maximum of six months in jail but she would likely only serve hours due to overcrowding.
Amanda tweeted the President, saying, ‘Hey Barack Obama.. I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end.’
About a week after her arrest, she backed over a curb while texting, right before going to a West Hollywood nightclub, and a week later was spotted holding up traffic while making a slow three-point U-turn.
