Who Could Replace Sharon Osbourne on 'America's Got Talent'

Howard Stern still hasn't signed on for a new season of "America's Got Talent," but that may have something to do with the fact that he still doesn't know who his fellow judges will be. Stern's close friend Sharon Osbourne is gone for good, and the King of All Media wants a suitable replacement queen by his side on the judges panel.

Rumors have been swirling for months about potential replacements, and this week even more names were thrown into the ring for "AGT's" middle seat filler. Here are the possibilities being thrown around.

1. Carmen Electra: Last week, the New York Post broke the story that reality show mega producer Simon Cowell was courting the sexy ex-Pussycat Doll and long time Howard Stern Show gal pal to join the "AGT" judges' panel.

2. LeAnn Rimes: TMZ broke the news Monday that "America's Got Talent" is pursuing country superstar LeAnn Rimes as a potential Osbourne replacement. Rimes is a two time Grammy winner, and could add legitimacy to "AGT's" search for a new singing superstar outside of the "American Idol" pop schlock factory.
“Sounds like they might have to put her in a straightjacket, but that’s kind of interesting," said Stern about the possible choice of Rimes.

3. Carly Simon: Simon isn't just a singing icon. The 67-year-old crooner has released 24 studio albums, 9 compilations, and has won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and three Grammy Awards. Perhaps even more impressive? She also turned in a phenomenal performance during her Howard Stern Show interview in 2008, when she revealed dirty secrets about awful behavior from James Taylor and also belted out a sultry version of "You're So Vain".
Stern gave Simon the thumbs up on Monday's Stern Show:
“I think Carly Simon would be cool. I’m talking about terms in being on time…[Plus] Carly could be a crier. Or could be trained to be one.”

4. Shannen Doherty: Yup. Shannen Doherty. TMZ has her pegged as one of the women on "AGT's" "wish list" for possible Osbourne replacements. Why? We'll have to get back to you on that one.
Howard Stern had this to say about the possible Doherty pick:
“From ‘Beverly Hills 90210’?…She’s nutty, right? Can she be on time? Because that's going to affect my decision about going back."
